Wow, well this is awesome. If you are here it is because you have taken the step to do our course, how exciting and a huge WELCOME! 🙂 

By now you are well familiar with what we are all about and what we are going to be doing as we move through some great content, do some great activities that are actually helpful and will leave you feeling greatly inspired for what you can do next.

A few things that you should know, if you read through our glossary of terms on the context page you will be familiar with some of the key words you will come across in the course. You should also get over your fear of reading (we also had to so don’t worry), we have done our best to make it as exciting as possible as you move through the content with great images and of course, infographics summarising the main points and items.

A quick recap on the modules before we jump straight in:

Module 1: Support – setting up a proper foundation of development 

Module 2: Exposure – how will you know about stuff if no-one told you 

Module 3: Practical Tools – this is what you should do in certain situations 

Module 4: Equipped – let’s think about the future and stay relevant 

What you get:

• Certificate of participation

• A course to add to your CV 

• Great tools and an understanding of your interests 

• Ideas of what to do next & how to make it happen 

Tests and assignments: we do practical activities throughout the course with you by walking you through guided tasks. The great thing about this course is that you can’t fail and we are not marking or grading you, rather our aim here is to equip and inform you so that you can do better at all the other tasks life throws you.  

There is one main assignment at the end of the course but again, it is not for marks and you cannot fail. We have chosen an interesting topic for you so there really is nothing to fear!  

What you will need:

• Access to a smartphone, tablet or computer 

• Internet 

• Notebook and pen or Word document (whatever you prefer for activities)

• Fresh, engaged and interested mind 

• Willingness to learn and be honest with yourself

Your success in this course is not based on what an instructor can teach you but rather, by how you can use what you already have with a bit of help and truth.

P.S. Time indicators are a guide, you are most welcome to spend more time on each section, this course is about you and we are not putting a time limit on that.
