Setting the scene
This module is about teaching you some of the best ways to go about feeling empowered, knowledgeable and in control of your next steps. We will look at practical skills and tools to help you navigate some of the pathways you might be considering or give you the tools to use when you get there. This is a combination of life skills and knowledge relaying.
Warning: this module includes curse words like “CV”, “interviewing” ,“rejection”. Do not fear, we will not be calling on any of the things you know about these topics already and instead, will discuss things you can actually use.
OUTCOMES:
Becoming more knowledgeable on what you can do. Looking at how you can construct your CV (and not in a boring way). Looking at some streams of pursuit, amazing tips on how to deal with rejection and take something positive away from it. Lastly, we will look at some interviewing strategies and breaking norms when it comes to this.
Hang in there and persevere, this module is actually pretty great and will answer some of those questions that seem to lurk in the background unattended. We promise to make this module as fun and interactive as possible.
